WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE SANCHEZ'S
Since we knew that God had begun to trust us a little more, allowing us to educate and instruct one of His creations that is a baby, from that moment, we have wanted the best for our Champeon. We started to pray a few months ago for the financial provisions because we knew that it would be a big struggle, but today with only 2 months untill Israel is born, God has suprised us like never! We are praying for $1000 and thanks to God He has already given us more than half of what we need. Thank you so much for the donations that have blessed the arrival of our baby. Thank you to those that have supported us financially but also to those who have supported us in prayer. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Also for all the clothes, babys clothes are so sweet and precious, just seeing his clothes we get all excited about his arrival. (If you would like to support us in that way communicate with us and we will tell you how to send gifts for our baby).
WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
We have felt to travel to Chiapas Mexico for the birth, we have the permision and authorization from our leaders to be able to go. We will be leaving Guatemala the beginning of September, our baby will be born in the middle or end of October. We are so excited for this! We have decided to take a small pause from our work in Guatemala because we desire to give all the attention and care that a baby deserves to our child. If everything goes well, we will be going back to Guatemala in the middle of December or beginning of January 2010, but we have the desire to follow the will of God and be in YWAM Guatemala.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING IN CHIAPAS?
There are several things that God has been putting in our hearts during the time we are in Chiapas Mexico. One of the will be work with my church (Light and Life) there we will be working with the kids, youth, and sharing with the congregation. We have just recently got invitations to speak of our work with several youth groups and churches. Also we will be visiting some people that support us with finances and prayers. One of the purposes of our visit is to raise more support financially with the arrival of Israel we will need more support financially and with prayers. One thing I intend on doing is to enter a drivers course to get my license to drive, we are praying to bring down Lauras car that she has in Chiapas but we need to pay the insurance on it which is $400 to $500. We are praying for this because to have a car with a baby is a necesity. Help us with your prayer and if you would like to support us please contact us without any doubt that would bless us greatly.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for your prayers and your unconditional support thank you for taking a few minutes to read this news letter. We will be communicating to you what is happening while we are in Chiapas and what God is doing in out lives, and the process of having our baby.
God bless you and guard you and may you prosper in everything you do! Many hugs from YWAM Guatemala!!
With much love

News of July
A YOUNG MAN ROBBED A few days ago, while returning from one of our ministries we decided to get a coffee. When we left, we found a young man crying a few feet away from a buisness, for a moment we wanted to act like everyone else watching this scene and not do anything, but "something" made us go back and ask hime what had happened and why he was crying. We were suprised when we heard from him that a few minutes before, he had been robbed in one of the public busses, and he was crying because they had robbed the money that he had obtained selling rellinitos ( a guatemalan dessert) and he was going to get in trouble for loosing the money. We aksed him how much they had robbed and he told us it was 80 quetzales ($10 in America), so a friend, Laura, and I began to check how much we had between us, and between us 3 we were able to give hime what he had lost. We also asked him how many more rellinitos he had to sell to make up for those that were stolen, he told us 120 quetzales. We were also able to give him that and show him the care and love of God. In the end, we prayed for him (his name was Carlos) and we talked to him about the love of God and that God wanted to show him His love through us and will watch over him every time he leaves the house to sell. Through this, God reminded us that he wont give us a "problem" without giving us the "solution" also.
OUR BABY

God has been so good to us, the pregnancy has been really good so far, thank God we have not had too many costs and visits to the hospital. Last week we went to the doctor for an ultrasound, again it was so amazing to be able to listen to his little hear and see his little hands, feet and head. How Incredible!!! The doctor told us that everything is greatand that he is the exact weight and size that a six month should have! The only thing is that Laura has had a few little problems, last week she got a little infection. We ask for your prayers! Also God has been so amazing with us, we have been praying for the finances of $1000 and thanks to God, we have more than half! Hallelujah!
VERY LONG BUT BLESSED DAYS!!We have been working very hard we keep investing ourselves to keep establishing the Kingdom of God here in Guatemala. We were going to several different places with a group of 36 people from the United States. Those days were very full of happiness and challenges and to see kids, young people, and adults being impacted by the message of Jesus Christ. We went to several schools where after everything we were able to play soccer or basketball. The young people that came were able to share the love of God through dramas, songs, testimonies. Sometimes we left very early in the morning and got back to the base very late, there were days that we had to travel for hours, and be outside when it was really hot, but in the end, we accomplished the objective we had TO MAKE GOD KNOWN!!
OUR MINISTRIES

Along with having our normal work duties, we have been going to the Day Care with our little ones learning more about Jesus. We also went to the zone where they weigh babies. During this time, they don't have the resources to keep this ministry going, but we visited the homes and giving out Bibles and praying for the families. It was an amazing time. There were several people that were "touched" by the power of the Holy Spirit!. In the Bible Club in the zone where the dump is, we have seen more and more kids coming! This is our desire to impact all the lives we can in an area where there is so much need. We were also able to go to "the line" a place where prostitution is practiced. Laura and other lady's were talking and praying for th girls that were there and the men stayed to watch over the lady's praying and interceding for the place and also took advantage of the time we had there and talked to some of the men that come to this place. It was a very special time but also very strong for everythign that we saw and felt in this place.
God has been doing big things in these days and our desire is that He keeps using us to bring His Light to these dark places. Please help us with your prayers
TIME OF TRANSITIONWe as a mision are in a very crucial time, for reasons beyond us, we have to leave this property and go to a place that we don't know, but we have the trust that God will not abandon us nor will he leave us. Even though we have several opciones there is nothing concrete, we keep waiting for the direction of our good God. We ask for your prayers so that our leaders can hear the voice of God and give us the right direction. Those of us who work with YWAM Guatemala have understood that the Presence of God is not in a building but that His presence es in US and that we take this wherever we go, this is the reason that we say to God "He can keep counting on us!"
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH

for taking a few minutes to read our newswe give you the freedom to leave whatever comments that you want, or if you have a word from the Lord for us, it would be a great blessing and encouragment to keep going on with the work that God has given us. For our part, this is everything. We ask that God keep blessing and guiding your lives in everything you do!!!
With much love and many hugs from Guatemala
